2011 Jefferson/Jackson Day Dinner

May 5, 2011

The Page County  Jefferson/Jackson Day Dinner will be held on May 5, 2011, our premier event of the year,  at the BB&T Center for the Performing Arts in Luray, VA.  Make your plans now to join us for an evening of fun, fellowship, and politics as we move Page County forward.  The evening will begin at 5:30 with a cash bar and social hour prior to dinner, a real chance to catch up with friends and meet new folks as well.  After the social hour a plated dinner will be served in a true banquet setting unlike anything we have done before.

Our guest speaker will be State Senator Don A. McEachin, a Democratic member of the Virginia State Senate. He has been a Senator since 2008, representing the 9th district, and continues his strong advocacy for equal rights.

Our Keynote speaker will be Brian Moran, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia. Brian was elected to the House of Delegates in 1996, where he became Chairman of the Virginia House Democratic Caucus only a few years later. In the legislature, Brian Moran has fought for  raising the minimum wage, increasing access to health care, making the largest education investment in Virginia history, and protecting our environment for the next generation.

After dinner, we will resume the cash bar and have live auction that will amaze and delight everyone.  The cost of the dinner is $25.00/person, please call Tom Ford at 540-272-4264 for ticket information.
